We've all hurt ourselves in an accident before, but what was the dumbest manner in which you've accidentally hurt yourself?

once, while living in my own house, there was this slippery area in the patio..formed like a curb..many times my parents warned me to be careful..but i ignored it and i twisted my left ankle so bad, i broke my ankle, had to put pins in to stabilize it..was in cast for 5 months

Oh god, that sounds horrid. xD

My story? I was seeing Iron Man 2 the day it was released, and before the movie started, someone kept calling me. My phone was on silent and we were in the very back row of seats with a walkway behind us. If they had just called me once and left a message, I would've not cared, but this person kept calling and didn't leave any messages. So instead of walking by 20 some people as we were sitting in the middle of the row, I decided to hop over the back of my seat onto the walk way. Bad idea.

I was wearing flip flops at the time, and as some of you might know, it's kind of hard to keep them on when you're flying through the air. The way I'd jumped over the chair led my left leg down as the leg I was going to land on, but I hadn't realized my foot was turned inward as opposed to flat as it headed for the ground. All of my body weight landed on my outer ankle, and it snapped the bone almost clear through.

I didn't scream, I didn't cry, so my friend was confused about what happened. He ended up realizing I'd hurt myself cause I was on the ground unable to get up (I tried). He crawled over the seat and ended up carrying me out of the theater where he sat me down on the big benches just outside the theater door. I told him I was fine, that I'd just sprained it, but my ankle was swelling and it was bruised, and it was bent inward. Turns out I had to go to the hospital after all. xD Was in a boot for six weeks and on crutches for most of that.
