A bird's eye view of Paris - taken by a camera attached to a rare eagle - is proving a huge viral hit.

The astonishing footage was filmed as a white-tailed eagle flew from the top of the Eiffel Tower towards the Palais de Chaillot.
During the flight, the bird of prey was able to capture breathtaking footage of the French capital with a high-spec Sony camera mounted on its back.
It flew over the Seine towards the Trocadero Gardens before circling back, giving a 360 degree view of the French capital, to land on the arm of handler Jacques Olivier Travers.
The stunt was the work of Freedom, a charity attempting to reintroduce the rare eagle back into the French and Swiss Alps.
It will also use the footage to study the behaviour of the eagles to understand what needs to be done to prepare the birds ahead the full re-introduction program.
I love Eagles and this one took beautiful footage too!
