The Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, annular solar eclipse will cross North, Central, and South America. It will be visible in parts of the United States, Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America.

I caught a total eclipse when I was touring the US Southwest several years ago. Quite accidental. Had not actually thought of it when planning the trip. I know a guy who has trips planned for the next two North American total ones. But an annular eclipse can be interesting, too.
