I doubt they will follow through with the request as I think the corruption has gotten so deep in our government that no one even cares to hide it anymore. They went from looking like they do it to just outright admitting it. I doubt they would do that if they thought it could backfire on them. I think we are going beyond the point in which we can just vote out the bad as it seems the system they get voted into is infact poisoned by corruption.
