What do you think about electronic cigarettes?

I think they're just as dumb as real cigarettes and have their own negative side-effects. How about we teach people that smoking is, you know...BAD for you, and that you shouldn't do it at all.

I've had 2, both broke not long after I got them.

Some flavours have a horrible taste, others taste alright.

I've got back to the occasional ciggy, smoke mugwort/sage most now though.

Alot of people including myself smoke them at gigs. I'd always ask if I could smoke one in someones house.

He was sitting right by me and I have a breathing problem, the vaping was not cool.

And he didn't ask me.

My thoughts are the same as Dee's. Seems they trying to bribe smokers into buying expensive tech cigarettes and telling them that they are better for them. That is a lie. :glare:

It may not be as bad, but it sure as hell isn't healthy, I'll tell you that much.  I find it just absolutely hilarious when smokers get irritated at things like banning cigarette smoke in certain places because it's a "right".  It's 100% not healthy.  There are no health benefits that outweigh the risks, and e-cigs are just a pathetic attempt to trick smokers into thinking it's less devastating to your health.  It's the same tactics tobacco companies used when cigarette smoking was rampant in hospitals and on airplanes because for some people all they need is one cigarette to get hooked for the rest of their disgusting, smelly, yellowed, wrinkly, aging lives. *shrug*

I work at a dealership and some guy had the nerve to ask me if he could smoke his E-cig in the waiting room in front of everyone sitting there. I told him we don't allow smoking of any kind inside. If I allowed him to do it. Not only could I get in trouble, it would send the wrong message to all the other customers and than everyone would use it as an excuse to start lighting up. :glare:
