What are some of the most emotionally devastating episodes of television shows you've seen?

I can't say I've ever been emotionally devastated. But there was an episode on the 5th season Highlander where one of my all time favorite characters was killed by the main character. So that sucked.

I have to give it to MASH. "Abyssinia Henry" and the Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen" still bring me close to tears every time.

If you never got to watch MASH, this is what happened:
Henry Blake was a major character (the commanding officer) for the first 3 seasons. In the finale of the season he got a discharge and went home. The whole episode was them saying goodbye and wishing him off up until he gets on a chopper and leaves. In the final scene the company clerk Radar, who was extremely close to him, comes in upset and announces that Henry's plane was shot down over the sea as it left the mainland with no survivors.

I dunno the names, but a few episodes of Buffy had me bawling, Charmed as well around the time Prue was killed, recently The Vampire Diaries did it, The 100, when Angelo died on Switched at Birth.

lol I could go on.

episode 11 of season 2 in agents of shield
it's really sad how raina's lifelong dreams were crushed and she got turned into some freaky thingy and has thorns all over her body (ouch) + skye is having a lot of trouble with her new "powers" + the team is really far apart and pissed off after tripp's death and mack gets really mad at coulson (and everyone else)
