Ended my day going from hating to loving Black Friday.

All I can say is I have the best wife and probably far more then I deserve. I decided with my business I would just take a few quick jobs on Friday while the wife does her Black Friday shopping. And if you have not visited the photography forum I have a casual love affair with the hobby. Now I upgraded my equipment not to long ago with a new camera body. Now throughout that time I have been constantly telling my wife all the time probably driving her crazy I want a certain pro level lens that is up there in the three digit price range and I need to trade in or sell my older body and a nice lens I just never use. So on Black Friday while I am out working my lovely wife grabs up my old equipment and some money she has been secretly putting aside for me and heads to the local camera store that is one of my favorite hangouts. She does the trade and gets me the lens I want. And for a non photography type of person she did a good job on the trade.

Looking forward to trying it out Sunday for the Star Wars themed marathon near the Kennedy Space Center.

So the rest of the day without a single compliant I was her bag boy carrying everything in every mall we have. That kind of torturous pain was worth it for that nice surprise. By the way you women are animals in a shoe store sale.

The real die hard crazies for Black Friday are long gone by the time normal people like my wife are just looking for a few good deals for friends and family. Everything has calmed down and the people are much friendlier once the $40 dollar big screen deals are done. I joke but I am one of the few men who actually like just spending that kind of time with my wife with something she enjoys doing in the mall. Just give me a coffee and a pastry and I am happy.

It came to England this year. I heard 3 guys got arrested because they were fighting over a TV, and they dropped it on a disabled woman. Hilarious, but sad.

I find most stores have been doing online deals, too. So I'm just doing my shopping on the internet. I get good deals (not as good as in store probably, but still) without the risk of getting shanked. Win-win.

I find most stores have been doing online deals, too. So I'm just doing my shopping on the internet. I get good deals (not as good as in store probably, but still) without the risk of getting shanked. Win-win.

Problem with that is I have learned while watching all the women trying on there shoes and clothes they like to pose in the mirror trying different angles from front to back to see if it fits them okay. And people like my wife will grab such a huge amount of close to try on in the dressing room I think she is going to fall over. You can't do all of that online.
