Well back to work on the evening shift. All good things must come to an end I suppose.

(was on mornings filling in for a supervisor / I was acting supervisor for 2 months)

Anyway, would you or do you work the evening shift at a job?

(example: 2pm - 10pm)

Do you think those are good hours?

I actually think they are great hours, you have most of the day to live a life. I guess it ultimately depends on what you like to do outside of work and whether you can do that in those hours. For example, socialising - if most of your friends work regular hours then I can see it may be difficult.

I work regular weekday hours and generally can't get anything done - engage contractors etc. or can only get those things done when everyone else who works regular hours is trying to.

Sounds like good hours to me. I like to sleep in, so I would love being able to come home, go to bed, and sleep in.

Sounds good to me... how do you fit dinner in there though?

I personally like working the Evening shift. As I like to sleep during the day and gives me more time to spend with my girl, be with family, and be on. Although I like a 4 to 11 shift more then a 2 to 10 or 3 to 10.

Take it with you and eat it at work on your 'Lunch' (or dinner if you want to call it that) break.

Oh, cool.

I wouldn't really know what it'd like, but my Dad used to work 11-7, and those hours are absolutely terrible. You don't have time to do much in the morning, and by the time you get home it's kind of late to get out (well, if you have kids).

Dayshift ftw.

Those would be awful hours for me Nebulous. I would rather stick needles in my eye and rip my head off before working those hours.

I'm a morning person. I'd rather go to bed earlier and get up in the early morning to get ready for work.

Hi,

Would a mod please delete post #10 for me. I somehow pushed an incorrect button and don't know how to delete a post.

Many thanks,

Kathy Ellen
