Ever used UBB Threads Before?

UBB threads is a old forum software that's been around since the late 90's. It paved the way for how we know forum software today, and it was ahead of it's time. I went ahead and purchased a license to try it out but felt that it was quite lacking. Even free software has features that UBB Threads is still lacking. Now I only see well established forums using UBB threads.

Ah UBB I remember being on a few forums which used it in the early 00's. It is definitely dated at this point haha.

I used to tinker with WWWThreads before Rick sold it to Infopop to make it UBB.Threads, I had a UBB.Classic license because I was just so enamoured with UBB.Classic 5 that I kept one running for years after it realistically should have been upgraded, lol. But these days it's only got two developers, no real backing and shows its' age terribly. It'd be nice to see them pick up some traction, but they're so, so far behind in the market that even the clout they used to have for being The UltimateBB no longer carries sway. They need to start from scratch, honestly.
