Have you ever been evicted from a place you were living?

Ever known someone who has? Why did it happen to them?

Never been evicted. That is not something a person wants to have on their record. Good luck trying to find a place to live after that happens. I guess you'd have to live in a hotel room. lol.



I heard it takes more than six months to get someone evicted and ejected from the premises.

I've never been evicted as I've always owned my own home. I read in the paper, however, that a family of five were being evicted from their mobile home. The guy lost his job and was behind on his rent. They had small children and the community held a fundraiser to help them out. They collected enough money that the family was able to stay in the mobile home. The guy has now found another job and I'm happy the community was able to help that family.
