Let’s be honest, Snapchat was created so you can take a photo of your friend, draw a penis on it, and then send it to dozens of people.

Now the amazing photo editing feature – the staple of Snapchat – is to be utilized by Facebook as well.

It is no secret that Facebook desperately want to emulate Snapchat’s playful method of communication (they even tried to buy the app for $3billion back in 2013).

Therefore, rather than think up something original, they are just stealing Snapchat’s idea and allowing you to ‘edit’ your photos.

They have apparently started testing out features on the Facebook app that will allow users to add stickers and filters to their images.

Techcrunch reports that the background blurs out while you are editing, unlike in Snapchat where the original image remains.

At the moment the changes will only be offered to iOS users, however the updates are expected to be rolled out for Android users soon enough.
