Cause they're running out of money! They make no money off of mobile revenue, because all their apps are free. More and more people are going mobile and it's hurting Facebook. In addition, 12 percent of their revenue is reliant on the company Zynga, which THEY DO NOT OWN! That's scary. Zynga is checking out a million opportunities to make money without having to rely on Facebook. In addition, the site popularity will go down and members will stop joining, BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET! Facebook is the first forum to have reached the limits of the web, or at least it's getting there



Gotta make it public now, gotta make that money.
