An Ohio father is arguing that he wasn't the one to strangle and kill his 15-month-old daughter but it was the girl's 27-month old sister instead.

The jury is deliberating in the case of Thomas Huge, 46, who stands accused of the capital murder of his daughter Kayli Bates in 2010.

Because there were only three people present when Kayli died in the family home- Huge, Kayli, and her sister Karli- the father is defending himself by saying his other daughter was the one to kill Kayli.

Given that Karli was only 27-months-old at the time of her sister's death, the prosecution finds it reprehensible that they are trying to place the blame on the young girl.

'What kind of person would throw his two-year, three-month-old daughter under the bus to save his soul? That man right there,'

Prosecutor David Prem told the court, while pointing to Huge.

He went on to say that doctors supported their case, testifying that the 27-month-old Karli would not have been physically capable of inflicting such harm on Kayli.

The jury is currently in deliberations, and if they find him guilty of capital murder then the trial will go on to a second portion, where they will determine whether he is given the death penalty or life in prison.

Sick bastard trying to blame a two year. I just hope Karli didn't witness her sister being chocked to death.
