Nebulous said:I still watch a lot of seinfeld and that 70's show.![]()
It mainly ended because of Ashton Kutcher (Kelso) and Topher Grace (Eric) pursuing their movie careers. It did not end because it was going into the 80's. In an interview with Eric, he was asked about time frame and he said that each episode did not equal one year. He said that the show started off time specific, but then it wasn't. They were in '77 for over a year and he said they didn't really talk about it, but the rumor was 2 seasons= 1 year. He even said there was talk about it going into the 80's.

Nebulous said:When a show does not make new episodes anymore, it is canceled. Unless it was a mini-series which this show was not.
Nebulous said:Shows tend to make up some sort of conclusion to the story when the show is being canceled. Like if the show involves a family and the kids get too old, they will show them going off to college or something.
