That 70's Show wasn't canceled it concluded, and it's one of the very few shows to do so and never once be canceled. Scrubs would be my favorite canceled show.

That 70s show was canceled.

It mainly ended because of Ashton Kutcher (Kelso) and Topher Grace (Eric) pursuing their movie careers. It did not end because it was going into the 80's. In an interview with Eric, he was asked about time frame and he said that each episode did not equal one year. He said that the show started off time specific, but then it wasn't. They were in '77 for over a year and he said they didn't really talk about it, but the rumor was 2 seasons= 1 year. He even said there was talk about it going into the 80's.

No, the state of the show is concluded but not canceled, it didn't get canceled it ended, and it did go into the 80's, look up That 80's Show, it was basically a spin-off of that 70's show except with different characters, it doesn't matter if it would have been canceled the point is that they managed to conclude the series thus preventing the inevitable, it probably would have been canceled, but it wasn't, That 80's Show however, was canceled.

When a show does not make new episodes anymore, it is canceled. Unless it was a mini-series which this show was not.

Not true, for example, Scrubs is in a canceled state because they never had their series finale, now, if they would have ended it at season nine, where they arguably should have and went onto make a spin-off for Scrubs Med-School, Scrubs would have been ended not canceled. But with That 70's Show it had a series finale and concluded as a whole, it wasn't taken off of the air by force, they wrapped up the show. If you cancel a reservation that you made to go to a restruant, it's canceled, but if you go to the restruant, eat, and come home, it ended.

Shows tend to make up some sort of conclusion to the story when the show is being canceled. Like if the show involves a family and the kids get too old, they will show them going off to college or something.

But they didn't do that, they had an actual conclusion with that featured Aston and Topher both returning for it, and they left no loose ends regardless if they were going to be canceled, they wrapped up the show before that occurred.
