The Westminster Dog Show was a few days ago - What is your favorite dog breed, and why?

German Shepard / Alsation.



I just love the markings and the overall look of them, I've grown up with them, our first dog we had when I was born was a German Shepard, love them!

Without a doubt I would say Greyhounds. I am a member of the Greyhound Rescue Society and have owned two. They are highly intelligent and very loyal. I hope to one day see Greyhound racing banned from every place that allows it. As soon as they no longer win races or are to slow to qualify for a race they are often starved to death and replaced by a faster dog.

Great Dane. Super cool and loving/caring for a big dog. They're awesome, but I've never had one. Friend has one though.

Siberian Husky

English Sheep Dog

Either an Alaskan Malimute or a Lab. Both very loyal. Malimutes are very protective also.



I had a friend that always raised attack/train dogs. He keeps telling me I need a Rotweiller.

I have always thought that Australian Shepard's were the best looking dog but require a lot of maintenance. Siberian Huskies would also be on the top of my list.

I also like Greyhounds, I think they're great breed if you're a first time dog owner. They don't require alot of walking and are pretty happy to sit about the house.

I know once I get my own place and I'm sorted money wise and such I'll be getting myself a Greyhound.
