Sadly no family traditions anymore for me. My family is so fractured and splintered off into little clusters that keep to themselves. As for my peeps (partner and daughter) we always take each other out to a nice expensive dinner on our birthdays. I suppose that is cool.

On holidays, Most of my family only gets together for dinner. Any other regular day we've invited them, it's been a no.

My family only consists of my husband. Around the holidays, Christmas, we watch Christmas movies and the Christmas episodes of the Closer.

Hm... Probably the fact we take in a special meal for birthdays? Or the family tradition we almost always do of watching Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer we used to have a lot?
