What's your favorite gaming engine?
 
Corona. To me it's MonoGame with awesome documentation and more stuff done
for you without sacrificing too much freedom (also without all the GUIs, personally I'm not a fan of Unity/Unreal because of all the forced UI interactions).
 
Well, Unreal Engine 3 is easily the most flexible engine on the market, even more so than UE 4. Then I had good results from CryEngine also at one point. Point saying that we see games being released and people are not fussing about what engine the game is made on. DOes not even enter the heads.
 
Enterbrain's RPG Maker! that's as flexible as you can get. Also a lot of pretty fun games were done in that platform!

Not bad, but like anything else it has it's up and downs
