Not really, although that would be the ideal way to earn a living.

I had one I didn't mind going to every morning for about two years.

Then the position was moved into a shared "cube farm" office with a bunch of people who were overly social and spent most of the day chatting so I ended up going home with a migraine about once a week.

I still enjoyed what I did, just I could not function well in that environment.

When I told the bosses about the working conditions, I was told that I wasn't being "a team player" and I should adapt to them. Of course, I asked why I had to do the adapting instead of them.

The bosses didn't like that question.

I liked being an administrative assistant. I got to run a lot of errands and pick up lunch for $25/hr, and it didn't take all day to do it. I did office work as well, so I have experience in that.

No, I worked that job for 5 years off and on while I was in school at my step dad's radiology business.

yes it is dee, if i was healthy.. id like to be a reporter for the sanfrancisco chronicle..

That sounds interesting. What are some of the fun things you'd do for that job?

ive always loved to get out in public and do field work. Since im into observing and surveillancing people id be perfect candidate. Reporters like to delve in the personal life of people..they want to get the facts etc.

Sometimes the news here shows the field reporters making calls, knocking on doors, trying to get interviews and whatnot. I don't think I could handle the reactions they sometimes get to people slamming doors in their faces, not answering, cursing them out, etc. xD But more power to the people who can!

Yes. I am a Paramedic and love the fact I can help people.

That's awesome, Jazzy! I bet you see some effed up stuff. x_x I don't think I could handle what a paramedic does for the pay they get (in some areas).
