..... After 15 years, the V.A. is pushing his coffee business out and bringing in a Starbucks instead.

“The government is supposed to support small business, and the agreement with Starbucks and the V.A. really just smashes small businesses nationwide,” he said.

The decision doesn’t just affect Gilmore. The deal with Starbucks affects 150 medical centers nationwide.

“For years we’ve had these vendor contractors provide coffee at various medical centers and clinics, and now they want to standardize it,” said Robin Jackson, a spokesman for the medical center.

I guess Starbucks was a huge campaign contributor of Obama's and now he's paying them back. Hopefully, the people in or visiting the V.A.'s will boycott. I don't think most vets have the money to spend $4 on a cup of coffee. I guess this move was more for the employees working in these V.A.'s.

This is rude and unacceptable. Forcing a small business owner to lose his job in favor of a new Starbucks can really make the coffee drinkers who served in wars and the military go out in a tirade.
