Feel the love....

Personally, I don’t feel religious leaders should take outspoken political stances. I feel, there’s no reason to let your congregation know who you voted for and try to influence them (to any degree) to support a particular candidate. This is in no way justifying the death threats against him or saying that people should not have political views. I just believe when people in a position of authority – be it religious or otherwise – they have to step back and distance themselves from making political statements.



This story also shows that some people take politics too far. I heard about a woman who was attacked and killed just because she wore an Obama t-shirt. There’s no reason for that.
