What are some things that are happening to you or that you observe in your life that make you feel old?

Turning 30 is one... :P

Haha, I'm not far away from that.

Some things that make me feel old:

I work with much younger students who were born in a completely different decade than I was, at least fifteen years after I was born. So trying to relate to them in a way that will make sense for them, like when I try to bring in real life examples, is somewhat difficult and slightly depressing knowing how much older I am. xD

This also happens with some of the people I work with at my other job. There's a wide variety of ages, but some of the younger kiddos are quite obviously young, and they don't get a lot of the references my managers and I make.

My body HURTS so much more than it did when I was younger. Or at least I don't recall it hurting this much. My joints act up sometimes, although it's not constant. My back has always been an issue, though not too bad to prevent me from functioning. And as I age, I am beginning to experience more health issues.

You mean besides the gray hair and arthritis?

I've said it before, and it is still true: I've got shoes older than most of Off Topix's members that I still wear.

when the body gets hurt and it takes longer to repair
when i need to wear glasses more often
when your doctor is younger than you are!
