Feminists are people, both men and women, who believe in equal rights for females. Some active feminists may campaign for equal educational, economic, political and social rights. However, most feminists are passive in their approach but still strongly hold the view that men and women deserve equality within these domains.

It is a common misconception that a 'feminist' is a term relating just to women when in fact, many modern day men identify as feminists.

I personally think we all should be treated equal, have all the same opportunities and rights. If someone wants to stand up for that, more power to them!

Personally, I like feminists, both men and women, alike...but, then again, I DO have a dog in the fight. Come to think of it...any heterosexual man who would like to permanently hook up with a woman should have a vested interest in 'feminism', since they'll be combining funds, one way or another, eventually.

But, I'm an odd duck like that...'cuz I also feel strongly about equal rights for EVERYone, whether or not their skin is white or regardless of with whom they choose to have sex,


and I don't have dogs in those fights. I don't believe that any right that is extended to others automatically reduces my slice of the pie.

i think that people that have hate in their hearts likes to attack these people that are fighting for equality, but instead pick and choose people that do wrong and class all of them into one category: as evil female loving female demons of some kind or something, which is totally ignorant and downright idiotic...

The original movement was a good thing. What it has turned into is a man hating, family destroying, pro murdering unborn children movement who ignore the real barbarity of what is happening to women in the middle east and the sex trade of millions of women across this planet. But instead choose to focus on other things like murdering unborn children and the false narrative of equal pay. They are a disgusting lot that promotes little girls to act and dress like sluts. Makes being a mom and house wife who wants to be home to raise there children into some kind of three headed monster to be looked down upon. A movement that now thinks it deserves special rights over us evil men.

Men and women are not equal. Each has there strengths and weaknesses which make it impossible for us to be treated exactly equally in the work force and out in the world. And this notion that we are and can have exactly the same pay is ridiculous. By far men take more dangerous jobs then women. Men statistically work more hours then women. These are not negatives but good things because women who do not work the same hours are having kids or caring for the ones already in the family. They are doing the roles in life the radical feminists hate and by god that has to stop! But to expect a employer to suffer when in some cases women are less productive from the time they take off work or the kind of job they do is insane. But radical feminists do not care about those facts.

No where did I say they are less strong. In many ways mentally they are the overwhelming strong ones in the family that keep it altogether in a families daily life.

When you say we you need to be more specfic because most women do not support todays radical feminist movement seeing the cultral damage they have done since the 1960s. But if you agree with one of the leading founders of the movement then yes you did it all on your own.

If I were a conspiracy buff, I'd think that the entire movement was engineered by men. After all, look at what's happened to women in the past forty years?

• Women are more promiscuous;
• Skanky clothing is now regulation;
• A-list actresses perform like porno stars in films and get nominated for Oscars;
• Aging actresses hitting the big 40 feel required to pose nude on magazine covers to prove they're still attractive;

But lets also not forget the nutty feminists like this womans quote Paloma Phelps, an intern for Feminists Organized to Resist, Create, and Empower that have made men more and more turn into rude jerks with woman because of the insistence they should be treated in no way special. And then when the women constantly ask where are all the good men you can only shake your head.

About got myself arrested last year visiting my wifes sister in California dealing with this new generation of rude little punks that are growing up in our society believing women do not deserve that bit of extra kindness and chivalry. Entering the mall had a 13 year old try and squeeze right in-between my wife and her sister while I am holding the door for them to get in. Could not control myself and grabbed his shirt collar pulled him back out the door and said learn some respect. My wife gave me the look I should have just let it go while her sister I could see just gave me at least 10 points in her book. So maybe ten minutes later I have mall cop questioning me and said I need to leave the mall now before they might have to call the cops after I explained what happened.
