Do you ever read the fine print when you receive things like coupons/rewards in the mail? Also things like signing a contract or accepting an online transaction? Terms of services? When is it important to you to actually read that stuff?

Depends, if I'm buying something expensive, yeah. If I'm playing monopoly at Mc Donalds, nah...

I see plenty of people coming into the store where I work with rewards certificates and offers, which are technically free when you're a member of our equally free rewards program. They come in with expired tickets and complain that we don't take them because 6 months wasn't enough time for them to use it. What about fine print like that?

Yes, I always read the fine print. Often it will have important information that's not specified in the main contract/coupon/rewards. It's called fine print for a reason. It's hiding something.
