I'm finally done with my military enlistment issue. Here in Egypt, recruiting is obligatory for males who are above 18. I'm back to Off Topix again.

Boring. Seconds passed like days. Living in tents at desert borders is an experience I'd not recommend for anyone. Maybe fun and challenging for a week two, but not for a whole year.

Definitely. Food at the camp was just served to make you alive under +40c. On most of the days, you eat typically 1/4 or even 1/8 of what you eat at home (like an orange divided on 3 soldiers, sliced into 6 parts so each one can take two) Only on rare days you would get full meals and those days were the days where the scumbag leaders were happy.
