Fire Alarms.

I. Hate. Them. Friggen woke me and 130 other people up at FOUR AM! They're all good and stuff but why 4AM? I was asleep, I only had goddamn 4 hours of sleep this morning because of that. And after it had gone off and all of us had gone outside it was friggen raining and cold and I hate fire alarms, they need to die. It hurt my ears when it went off, I'm surprised no one in Africa heard it. And then it took the people, what felt like, an hour to turn it off whilst all of us were stood in the cold

I wouldn't but I haven't had any luck in getting any good sleep for the past 4 days. Fire Alarms are saver's and I know that, but last night looked like the one night in which I was going to get a good night sleep. I just hope it doesn't happen again, well... not that early.

Ohh. Well hopefully you get some much needed sleep soon! Did you find out the reason for the alarm going off?

I don't but some people, who've lived in the building before, groaned and asked a lad who came out in almost starkers what he'd done. And no one believed him when he said nothing. So he might have something to do with it.

Fire alarms save lives. We just had a tragic fire here last week (which I responded to) and the home had no fire alarms. The mother and one child got out but the husband and two other children did not. This happened at 3 am and I would rather it be a false alarm and stand in the freezing cold than have happen what did to this family.

I realize that. I have no problems with them, especially if they cause me to miss lessons

That sucks.. I bet you had a miserable day after that. What a way to start the day.



Anything could set off a fire alarm. They can be sensitive. One time I was cutting a piece of wood at work in a closet / work room type room. The saw got jammed and the engine let off a tiny bit of smoke. The fire alarm went off and they had to evacuate the whole school because of me. I did not get in trouble though, s**t happens.
