Britainââ¬â¢s first speed-dating flight is due to take off this weekend ââ¬â with two of the protagonists of ââ¬ËThe Only Way is Essexââ¬â¢ on hand to dispense romantic tips.
The Jet2.com flight will take off from Leeds Bradford to Paris early on Saturday morning (November 17), full of passengers hoping to find love.
Once in Paris, all the single passengers will be testing their chat-up skills with a speed-dating session conducted on a specially chartered boat travelling along the River Seine.
Any of those needing a little encouragement can seek the advice of Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh from the ITV television series, which documented the twists and turns in the lives of young people based in Essex.
Those on board on the flight are all travelling free of charge, having entered a competition. They had to state why they deserved to be on the ââ¬Ålove planesââ¬Â and include a photograph of themselves.
The inaugural flight is full, but there are still places remaining on a second flight from Manchester, which takes off on November 24.
Although there are no similar flights scheduled in the future, organisers will gauge the success of the initial trips, and may develop plans for special Valentineââ¬â¢s flights next year.
