I havent been in a long time. I want to get a pole and go soon.

I haven't gone fishing in over three years. It's been quite a while.

I used to fish lots, not anymore though.

I havent been in years. Last time I went, I caught a huge Cod. My uncle told me to throw it back as those dont taste good.

Went fishing last week. Didn't catch anything, but had a blast with my grandpa.

I like fishing, I normally sell my fish to a fish person at the market.

I love fishing and especially night fishing. I have a canoe and my favorite fish to catch is catfish.

Last time i went fishing was in France, but we only caught some little fish

I plan on going fishing in a few weeks; my grandparents went fishing last week and caught a bunch.

I remember the 1st time I seen a fish get cleaned. I almost threw up. lol

Yeah.. that's why I don't eat them. Only time we'll keep them and eat them is if they're huge, but I don't do the scaling and stuff, my grandpa always does the dirty work.

 

[Nebulous]

Why dont you eat it? I thought the whole point of going fishing was to get some food.

 

[Corleone]

Nah, maybe a few hundred years ago, but now fishing is for the fun of the sport. I fish for fun, just release them after I catch them. Like I said, we sometimes do keep them, but only if they're really big and we're going to get a lot of fish off of them. Still, not a big fish eater.

Just as I read my post, I noticed the irony in my last couple of statements. Only if they're really big, and not a big fish eater. lol Funny, but I'm sure you all know what I mean.

If I didnt get a few meals for my time spent out there, then I wouldnt do it. Instead I'd just go ride around in a boat or sit by a lake and do actual fun things. Thats just me I guess.

You don't go fishing a lot do you?

It's fun once you're catching fish.

Its fun for the 1 minute you are reeling it in and sticking in the ice box.
