Flatulent cows are being blamed for an explosion which nearly lifted the roof off a barn in Germany.
Methane gas released by the cows caused the explosion which injured one of the cows as well as damaging the roof of the cow shed.
Firefighters said high volumes of the gas had built up from farts and belches of the 90 dairy cows, reports the BBC.
They believe a static electricity charge ignited the gas, causing the explosion at a farm near the central German town of Rasdorf.
Emergency services attended the farm and took gas readings to test for the risk of further blasts, said local media.
Cows are believed to emit up to 500 litres of methane - a potent greenhouse gas - each per day.
