This is just so horrible. They can't even get close enough to the sinkhole to retrieve his body.

Amazing that we can put people on the moon but we can't get this body out of a sinkhole. I can only hope and pray this man is dead and not somehow still alive. If it were a toddler, would they have given up this easily? This is heartbreaking and my heart goes out to his loved ones.

They can't get the man's body out of the sink hole because the ground is still very unstable around that area. As a matter of fact they are also forcing a bunch of the neighboors out (in that same area) in addition to demolishing that first home where the man disappeared...
