Do you have many forum friends who you feel close to? Have they been a friend of yours for a long time?

Almost everyone here and Off Topix is a friend. But I would say both @PGen98 and @Nebulous are the closest.
I'm sorry to hear that in my case, but agree, Nebby's a great friend to have.

In '07, I met a user named Reap3r252 on a wrestling forum. Since then, I have run multiple websites with him, and have talked to him off-and-on for the last sixteen years.

People who I have a deep emotional connection to are in short supply (I would say, maybe, half a dozen) and he is one of them.

I've known Helena since I was a teenager and we occasionally keep in touch. We've done various projects together.

I do. If it is a short friendship so to say, it is fine. But to have a good friend it will take years. At least for me.

I'd say I'm close to a small handful of people I've met through forums over the years. I used to have a completely different group of people I was close with years ago but they've all disappeared since then.

I can even consider everyone to be a good friend, as long as they want to be nice to me. But I only have a few close friends I can count on my fingers. 😊

I say I have a few friends from forums on Facebook, but wouldn't mind having more.

I've had some close friends in the past. Back when I ran my old anime forum years ago, I had a trio of close friends. We joked around that we'd get together for a road trip and bake a cake and visit each other. It never happened though. Life tore us apart. In many ways, I long for that kind of tight relationship again. And now that I'm older (and wiser), maybe an IRL meeting would actually occur. A girl can dream.
