Fox News Memos Leaked

Lol who cares what you call it...

I do, because if millions of idiots out there didn't falsely believe that the public option had anything to do with government-run healthcare then we could have had a public option, a positive step towards affordable healthcare in the United States.

Oh I won't forget. Because the fact is, right now it doesn't happen anywhere else.

Well its been known that this has been going on at Fox for nearly a decade, other memos of the same nature were in the documentary Outfoxed which was made something like five years ago. I'm sure that it would have leaked out from the others by now as well if it was happening. But the testimony of employees at Fox allude to an organization that is unlike any other that facades as a news organization.

So you don't remember the stink a few years ago about how CNN, the LA Times and others were writing stories and releasing them as news based almost entirely on Talking Point memos from the DNC.

Were those being release under News News? I don't understand how a news article could come from a simple talking point... I would like more information on this..

Time and again freezy you fail to understand that the world is not black or white. You act as if I don't know that humans are imperfect, but it is you who cannot grasp the concept of varying degrees of misinformation, bias, and lying. What about the fact that News Corp which owns Fox News donated more than a million dollars to the Republican Governors association? That hires people directly out of the Republican party and puts them on their payroll? Is there any other news organization that consistently practices deceitful video editing, promoting only the Republican viewpoint and/or rationale?

I know all cable news media is downright terrible. But there is a huge gap between something like CNN and something like Fox News.

To lie consistently to the American public and swaying millions of votes each election cycle?

Its perfectly legal. Welcome to America.

Where investment firms fuck up an entire financial system and then the government is forced to save their asses.

Where we randomly barge into middle eastern countries murdering despots and fucking around with insurgents for nearly a decade.

Where 5 companies control the production of 80% of the meat that Americans consume.

Where an internet service provider just purchased a huge news corporation.

Its perfectly legal

You mean a solution to the problem? Its not that easy, especially after the extreme media consolidation that has occurred in the wake of Clinton (he signed a bill that made extremely financially difficult to run a news organization, Fox wouldn't have survived if Murdoch wasn't covering the huge budget shortfalls for the first several years).

See I don't even really have that much of a problem with capitalism, but this kind of capitalism we have today is a cruel joke.

I can understand companies like Comcast, ISP and cable providers getting huge due to their being a natural monopoly, but allowing them to purchase something like NBC. It just seems so fucked up.

We don't even have real competition anymore..

So much consolidation. It isn't healthy.

Never said NPR wasn't baised.

But NPR listeners are much better informed.

And it is true that the tea party is just a gathering of the ignorant, the uneducated and the idiotic.
