"Harvard students believe that American is a bigger threat to world peace than ISIS, according to a recent survey of attendees at the prestigious Cambridge university.

Campus Reform, a self-styled 'campus watchdog' for conservative students, carried out the interviews in the quad at the Ivy League school on Saturday and asked: ‘Who is the bigger threat to world peace, ISIS or the U.S.?’

The students featured in the video were overwhelming in their belief that America and its interventionist foreign policy is a greater threat than the group of Muslim fanatics that have gained global notoriety in recent months through a series of video of Western hostages being beheaded."* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur & John Iadarola break it down.

it's funny how those idiots are mocking the smartest college students in america because they're speaking the truth...

Bunch of smart idiots those schools are turning out that need a butt kicking for ignorance. Now ask them basic questions like when did Americas civil war start. The branches of government and other similar questions and we will quickly find out how utterly stupid they are.

Never seen those FOX people before I like them. Gotta find out when there show airs.

haha, oh wow... :lol2:

Considering that ISIS came from the black hole that was left in Iraq after the US and Britain illegally invaded that country and completely destabilized it and the whole region those kids provided some very intelligent answers, but that would be lost on the likes of FOX who think that America the great can do nothing wrong. Having said that, the cause of the situation does not resolve the situation where most certainly ISIS is the biggest threat to our culture and therefore is the biggest threat to peace.

and the other thing I just have to comment on...that is so typical from what that dumb ass in the video said about 'Europe would be living under Hitler if it was not for America'... bla bla bla... this illusion that some Americans have that they somehow come over and single handedly won WW2 is just so arrogant. The same with WW1

WW1 tarted in 1914, the USA entered the war in 1917 and the war ended in 1918. For one year out of the four year war the US was involved. Was it important:? sure, did it help? most certainly, did they do it all by themselves?? NO They just came in at the end and helped finish it.

WW2 started in 1939, the USA joined in 1941 after the Japanese (not Germans) attacked Pearl Harbour.
America, along with all the other allies fought together, they did not come over and single handedly 'save Europe'. If Hitler hadn't opened the eastern front and attacked Russia, chances are that even with the USA involvement the Germans more than likely would have come out far more victorious that what they did. They would have without a doubt pushed right through England.

It was fighting on two fronts that resulted in their demise, more than half of the German soldiers that were killed in WW2 were killed on the Eastern front fighting the Russians, not on the Western front.

It is estimated that during WW2 the number total number of soldiers killed from the allied forces were 14,276,800 people, of which there was 400,000 US soldiers, most of which were killed fighting against the Japanese and not in Europe.

So again, as much as the support from America was needed and was welcomed, they did not 'come over and save Europe from Hitler'. In reality, Hitler saved Europe from Hitler by invading Russia and fighting on two fronts.

Hardly intelligent and there was nothing illegal about the invasion of a country that was not doing what it was supposed to do when it agreed to the surrender terms in the first war. And creating tons and tons of yellow cake, trying to shoot down American planes everyday, having terrorist training camps and finally having the WMDS that were always there says otherwise.

first of all, yes it was illegal, there was no sufficient evidence of weapons of mass destruction, no evidence of terrorist groups, (in fact one thing that Sadam was good at was making sure he had full control of everything in Iraq), the war was rejected by the United Nations which is Why the UK and USA decided to do this one anyway by themselves, and yes, by international law the war was illegal.
Even after the war neither the US or UK could support the claims of weapons of mass destruction.

Trust me, I am no big fan Iraq and could not really give a shit if you invaded him or not, but the mess left afterwards is the birth place of ISIS, and you don't need to take that from me, just go look at any experts opinion on line and you will see it anywhere.

But arguing who is responsible for them is really pointless now, the fact is that they are there and are a threat to us all, and need to be destroyed completely.

But there was hard evidence of WMDS and last year proved it.

United Nations is a joke and has no say on how we choose to protect our interests. Our congress approved the actions making it 100% Laval. The United Nations exists because we fund that waste of money.

But the could and knew all along the WMDS were there and decided to stay silent on the matter just like the New York Times reported on the huge article they did last year on the matter.

The message is we don't have leadership to finish what we started and a Iraqi people not willing to fight for the freedom we have them.

Don't forget, the reason Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in the first place was due to the trade sanctions the US imposed on Japan and Japanese companies operating in the US because they didn't like how Japan was at war with China.

Also, yes. Hitler sent his elite troops to fight the Russians, so technically the US could've just stayed at home with their thumbs up their shitholes and it wouldn't have changed the outcome. Of course if Russia had stayed out of WW2 it would be a different story.

There is no doubt that without the US involvement the war would have gone on much longer and may have had a different outcome, I am not understating the importance of their involvement, I am only commenting on the belief by some, like the guy in the video, who seems to think that the USA single handedly saved the world.

Bottom line is both wars would have been lost without America. We supplied the allies with weapons, planes, ships, tanks and armaments. We did not win the war single all by ourselves but pretty darn close. So bottom line is America most certainly did save  Europe from Hitler. Europe has us to thank 100% for the win and no one else.

And if Germany had not started a war in two fronts the war would have just been extended and we would have still beaten them to making the A Bomb and would have dropped it on Germany or we would have still dropped on Japan and then just brought all that military equipment in the South Pacific to Europe and when the next A Bomb was made drop it on Germany soon after Japan. If I remember right after we dropped the ones on Japan we did not have anymore ready to go. So we would have just ramped up production for another one.

My WW2 veteran grandfather even at his ripe old age before he passed away would have wanted to take you out back for beating on writing what you did.
