Frying Pan Flip

Do you ever flip your food in the frying pan, or do you use a spatula?
If you do flip, how’s your technique? Any impressive flips or funny moments.

Every time I've tried that, I make a mess; the spatula is for me.

I guess most people don’t, and honestly, I fall into that 85% most of the time....for a few reasons.

First, it can get messy. Even if nothing spills out of the pan, a few oil splatters can mean more cleaning, which I try to avoid.
Second, if I’m using a large pan with a lot of food, I skip it. I have issues with my hands, and the weight and effort can be painful.
So, I usually flip when I’m using a smaller, lighter pan and cooking food with little to no oil.
It just feels easier and avoids the hassle of dirtying a spatula for no reason.
