Used to be a regular thing I would do when a new console would come out. I would take my 40-50 games I had for the previous console and trade them in to get money toward the new console. Then I would ask for the games on the new console at the next holiday.Anyone ever go to Game Stop to buy new or used games and consoles? Why or why not?
I avoid Game Stop. I don't like buying used and broken games. I download all of my games on the PlayStation Network for 2 reasons. So I can't sell or trade them in and because your digital games and your PSN account, can be transferred over to any and all PS4 systems that you buy.
after the PS2 era, I haven't gotten a bad used game from them. Not sure if luck or better disc making by the console makers.

Quit going when they stopped all of their promotional events and tournaments and such.
This is how I view Gamestop to be real honest. Anytime I bought a new game that was 60 dollars or more and took it over to Game Stop, they tried to buy it off of me from any where to 5 to 12 dollars. They'd always try to get me buy their used garbage when I wanted something new. I felt that was a rip off every time
After hearing how they treat their staff I kind of lost all hope for that company.I used to when I was kid but I'm way too bitter to ever use them now. The amount of games I had to sell those scabby fools just to get mere pennies back in the hopes I could afford something new, lol.
I must have bought Bully and Marc Eckos Getting Up back off them 6 or 7 times because I didn't actually want to get rid of them, I just had to sell them if I wanted a chance of playing something new
