Gaming alone?

Do you prefer playing video games alone?

Or do you prefer to play against friends (in person) or online against the world?

Alone, I love solo gaming, it's how I've known it my whole life. I'm ok with some online games these days, but a lot of the time I just don't want to put up with the trolls.

I love playing with other people IRL. Me and my daughter or partner will tear up some Mario Kart (for example)

Depends on my mood but generally I tend to play more solo games, although nowadays that's more because there haven't been any recent multiplayer releases that I'm interested in playing. When a multiplayer game comes out that I really enjoy though I'll play a lot of it until I either move on or the game just simply dies off of its own accord.

Alone/campaign. I cannot stand playing with other people unless I know exactly who it is and if it's co-op/MMORPG. I just don't care to game against incels living in their mom's basement or 12 year old boys telling me they're going to fuck my mom.

Not really since I stream on twitch mostly all the time while gaming. and so if you love to game and talk to people then why not. End of the day I can play games and do things normally or game and stream with people and share and have a good time

I prefer to play games alone, I'm quite competitive, I'm a sore loser to say the least. :V Though I've been wanting to play Fortnite again in the future. I mainly like playing co-op games if I'm going to play a multiplayer game.

Sounds like thats happened to you more than once?

Not really since I stream on twitch mostly all the time while gaming. and so if you love to game and talk to people then why not. End of the day I can play games and do things normally or game and stream with people and share and have a good time

Hahaha, it's happened enough that I don't like to do it and I still hear lots of things from my brothers and friends who do play online games with other people.

I love playing solo, even if it's multiplayer game but I also like playing with friends. Sometimes I just get in a call with friends and we just play different game, just having conversation while we game, like I did all night last night.

I have never been very big on online-multiplayer, largely because once it became readily fun and playable enough to catch my interest, I lived out in the country and my internet connection became capped (it was awful, we'd have to wait until after midnight to watch Netflix, etc., - that was the "free" period). Nowadays, as an adult with my own place (and Spectrum internet), I've never gotten into the habit.

I do, however, spend nearly all of my videogame playing time with my wife though.

All day everyday right here. I game alone and am totally okay with it.

It really depends on the mood I am in as to whether I end up playing a video game on my own. If I am feeling like I just want my time I will play a single-player game on my own but if not, I will either play with friends or family online or just with random people online.
