I've gotten to where I usually pass on gelatin desserts, and it doesn't matter if it has fruit in it and whipped cream on it or not. I'd just as soon skip it and have a simple piece of fruit pie, if anything at all.

Maybe it's old age, but I'd rather have another piece of fried catfish than anything for dessert.

How about you?

If dessert is available, do you go for it?

It's alright. Not my first choice when it comes to desert, but I'll eat it if it has fruit suspended in it. :P

Do you mean desserts like jello or jelly or something like that? We don't really have that type of desserts, we use gelatin (from the leaf) as a binder in desserts, like cake pieces that has fruit on top or just to make the fruits shiny. Or in the case of one fruit dessert I made a while ago, just to add firmity to the dessert.
