George Osborne cuts tax relief for the UK games industry

British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osbourne has announced that that there will be no tax relief for UK gaming developers which was introduced by the last Chancellor Alister Darling. This will mean companies like Rare will have to pay taxes. Also I should mention that it is also a problem considering that the video gaming industry in the UK was one of the last type of businesses that was hit by the rescission
