Unfortunately yes. You can complain to the admin all you want about members breaking rules, and they won't do a thing about it and just let the person go on doing what they want to do. It's sad, really, because what that one sole person is doing is ruining the forum for the other members who are trying to enjoy themselves. You can't exactly enjoy yourself when there's loads of crap going on that shouldn't even be happening to begin with.
Although I have seen brief doses of favoritism, usually what I am known to seeing is a brief bending of the rules and or more lenient workings whenever somebody is within the real world, a friend of yours. It may not be fair however, I am not going to touch on this because honestly in that predicament I'd likely try and persuade my own rulings into my friends favor to prevent anger within the real world, although things will be done if excruciatingly large rules are broken.
