On a rainy Sunday the New York Giants scored a win against the San Francisco 49ers with the score 20 to 17. The New York Giants will now advance to Superbowl XVLI with the New England Patriots who had managed to win after a disappointing missed field goal by Billy Cundiff.

This was the reaction:

SAN FRANCISCO –- [font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]The New York Giants n[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]eeded overtime but their incredible run continues on to Indianapolis after emerging out of a soggy Candlestick Park with a 20-17 victory over the San Fransisco 49ers[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif].

[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin are heading back to their second Super Bowl and will see the Patriots again. The Giants won with a monster special teams play when Jacquian Williams p[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]oked the ball out of Kyle Williams' h[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]ands and Devin Thomas [font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]recovered his second fumble recovery of the game. That gave the Giants the ball at the Niners' 24 in overtime with 9:32 left.[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif] Lawrence Tynes then sent the Giants to the Super Bowl for the second time in his career with a 31-yard field goal.

T[font=verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]he defense stepped up during the biggest moments of the game and Manning, who took a ton of hits, led the offense to yet another game-winning drive this season to extend this stirring winning streak to five straight.

But it should not have gone down that way, but teams only won because of the other teams mistakes. Now it's time for a rematch and hopefully a really good game! Superbowl Feb 5th, here we come!
