Iran opens nuclear reactor

Iran on Saturday began fueling up its first nuclear reactor, and expects the plant to be fully up and running within the next several months.



With assistance from Russian engineers, uranium fuel rods were being loaded into the reactor. It will take about ten days to load 163 fuel rods, equivalent to 80 tons of uranium, into the reactor.

On a stage in front of military officials, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad pulled a sheet away from the aircraft, called the Karrar, which Iran says is its first long-range drone.

Funny thing about that drone is that Ahmadinejad calls it the ambassador of death. The guy really doesn't understand the idea behind diplomacy XD
