Go fly a kite

Do you like flying kites?



I think I am going to take the lil one to the park today to fly our kite. Its kind of windy today...



Ours looks like this:

Very cool looking kite! I have tried a hundred times but I cannot get a kite to stay in the air.

We didnt go to the park.. We did it in the street out front instead. It got stuck and a tree and caught up on the power lines. Luckily both times I was able to get it down.



I scared the crap out of the 3 yr old nextdoor. I was just playing around and I was pretending the bird was alive and biting my neck / attacking me. I was screaming and I fell to the ground all dramatic like.. The 3 yr old thought it was really happening and she started crying.. I did succeed in making my daughter laugh but I mortified someone else in the process. lol

She was fine after she saw that I was ok though.

Lmao!! I've always wanted to fly a kite in the store parking lot where I work.

I'm probably gonna buy an American flag kite whenever we get to the beach to fly it during the evening whenever we're done swimming and I just want something to do. I flew a kite there last time, but I didn't get it until the last couple of days.
