I realized the other day that music streaming services (Spotify, Pandora etc), have effectively stopped me from downloading music illegally, for the most part.

What about you? Do you like internet radio?

I've been using ESPN radio to listen to the World Cup games, when I can get the damned thing to work, AND when the stream doesn't switch to one of their talk shows in the middle of the game. It's OK for what it is, but I wouldn't pay for it.

I used to use Slacker to listen to the music I wanted to hear with limited commercials.

Since they 'adjusted' their format and now require registration, they're no different than most commercial over the air stations and I don't use them any more.

I'll still listen to Pandora once in awhile, but even they get annoying. And repetitive.

I listen to shoutcast international radio's and the ones I listen to have a lot of songs playing so the chance of getting tired of the same songs is very, very slim. And yea, I no longer download mp3's since I started listening to these online radio's.

I just let the babe fill up my ipod, I don't have to download anything. :P

I listen at work one of my local city radio station where is almost no adverts! Sometimes I wonder how this radio earns :) ? but important is that it stream almost only music, while at all other stations, music again and again being interrupted by commercials.
