What are people's thoughts on Gore?



If you don't know what gore is, basically it is pictures or videos which people post online of people who have died, either naturally or mostly died in Car Crashes, Murders, Suicide etc.



Would you ever look at it?

In my job (Paramedic) I see gore all the time. I don't need to see any more by looking at posted pictures.

Why would I want to watch it?

It's part of life, you'll experience gore, but unless it happens at random, I don't go out and try to find it.

After you've cleaned up the mess from a serious incident in a state prison a couple of times... you don't go looking for it as entertainment.



PS- after a couple of hours, crime scenes tend to stink.

I browse a website every couple of days which shows pictures, i don't look at it for entertainment, but i find it interesting (not in a good way)



Besides, it helps you if you did see a car accident or fight on the road which you had to help in, that way you wouldn't be grossed out as much because you have seen it before.

No. Seeing it on TV or on the Net doesn't help.



I've also been a first responder.



It it totally different when it is real and in person and YOU have to do something about it.



Some people see car accident victims and start screaming, or start throwing up. Neither is a lot of help.

No, I have a weak stomach. I can't handle Al or gore. uggh
