What do you think people say about you behind your back?

Have you ever confirmed anything? How did you react?

Yah they do.

I don't really know what they say.

And yeah i've caught people doing it in the past, but I don't really care. I gossip about them so it's all swings and roundabouts really.

Sure. It's human nature for some people not to be able to keep their thoughts to themselves.

I don't know and I don't care.

Nope but if I did, I would just ignore it. They are after a reaction and if you don't give them one they will quickly move on to the next victim.

I'm sure people do gossip about me, however I do not care.

I know they have/do. The only time it bothers me is when I know my managers are talking about me on the sales floor. They don't do it out of malice, I think, or to "gossip", but they end up talking about certain things that could probably be taken to the back. As for people in general, like friends a family? No, not really. I don't have friends and my family isn't the kind to gossip.

Sometimes they do. It's rather irritating, and although I love the heck out of these people, they do like to chit chat in circles about non-work stuff sometimes.

Gossip in the work place is not a good thing. People fail to realize when they spread a rumor about a co-worker and wrongly portray them in a negative light, it could effect their reputation, future performance evaluations and could possibly put their job in jeopardy.
