Grand National to be banned, after two horses died

During this year's Grand National, two horses had to be put down after receiving horrific injuries where one horse broke its back. Now, animal welfare groups are demanding a ban to the Grand National because of these deaths. I can agree with them as Grand National is very rough and in all of the Grand Nationals from the past number of years, 19 horses have died in total. Full story here.

Alot of my friends bet on horses. My mum hasn't bet since she was 18. Her horse fell and the news showed it being shot!

Sweepstakes went round at work, I was the only person who said 'no way, I'm not betting on that.'

Ha! They're Lib Dems with Tory hearts! I'm disgusted that they formed a coalition with the Tories! I played my vote. I voted Lib Dem to STOP the Tories getting in (as suggested by the local Lib Dem newspaper!). I didn't think they'd ever side with those bastards. I will NEVER vote Lib Dem again! From now on it'll be Labour all the way!!!

Hmmm, well Oscar had half persuaded me to vote BNP but I always feel that Emmeline Pankhurst suffered so much to give women the vote that I feel I ought to cast it wisely and voting for the Greens (my next choice) would be the equivalent of casting it away. Although I guess if the new style of voting referendum is voted in then I might get more chance to vote as I would wish.



However, I feel my vote needs to be counted, which limits the choice and at least Labour believed in Education, Nurseries and helping the disabled rather than just throwing them to the wolves! I also firmly believe that David Cameron should be the first of our Prime Ministers to be assassinated!!

Well I never knew that! In which case I think someone should send David Cameron to follow in the footsteps of fellow Tory, Spencer Perceval! He thoroughly deserves it! He's such a piece of ****! Nothing good has EVER come from voting for the Tories!
