As for brothers, heck yes, I have a few. They've always been very protective of me and my sisters, especially years back. Good thing they get along now with our men.
That wasn't always the case in our teenage years. ALL my brothers and my dad and uncle had to approve ... hah, fun times. Good times. We laugh about it still.
