Gut feeling

I was at work one day and I had a 'gut feeling' something was wrong with my dad. The feeling wouldn't go away. I called my dad but a friend of his answered the phone. He said my dad had collapsed outside in the yard while trimming bushed. He told me my dad had been taken by ambulance to the hospital. His friend happened to have been driving by and stopped to say hello to my dad. He witnessed everything and called for the ambulance.
When I called the hospital, they said my dad had suffered a minor stroke.
