How often do you get your hair cut? Do you go to the same hairdressers or too different one s?

Also, why are hairdressers called hairdressers? They don't dress hair they cut it :/

I cut my own hair and I did it yesterday!

I do it about once a week :haircut:

About every month and a half-ish. Just to keep it out of my eyes really.

Dunno, once every few months.

Ah, you say that, but they do dye hair!

But that's not dressing hair! That's dying.

I'm sure they would be more than happy to put your hat on your head :dontknow:

My mum cuts my hair, whenever I feel it needs cutting.

Only go to the hairdressers to have it coloured.

No mystery here.

The term "hairdresser" is simply an archaic form of the word "hair stylist".
Ahh okay.

I usually get my haircut about every two and three months, despite the fact that it grows fast and thick. That said, I badly need it cut :(

I was just asked by a busybody co-worker if I was going to get a haircut this weekend.

First, I laughed at them.

Then I said "If you are keeping track, I've had one haircut this year, I shan't be getting another."

Since when is my hair their business?

I get my hair cut as often as my aunt is in town.
(She is the only person I have cut my hair anymore)

So, probably every 4-6 months or so, or on major holidays~

Men usually employ the services of a barber. It sounds kind of unnatural for a man to say: I'm going to a hairdresser, instead of I'm going to a barber shop. Maybe not so shocking these days, though...
