I'm curious to see if any of you guys here used Joomla before. I'm currently using it for my Sonic the Hedgehog blog, and I like it better than Wordpress. To me it's easier to navigate the admin control panel, plus it was pretty easy to install new plugins. I also think it visually looks better just out of the box too.

A very, very long time ago but I haven't touched it recently. It wasn't great back then but I would be interested in trying it out now just to see what it is like. Back then, the ACP definitely felt like it was too complicated, especially when compared to WordPress.

Used it myself a very long time ago as well, I remember it being a bit complex and found WordPress a lot easier to use.

I dislike both Joomla and Wordpress, I would build something with XenForo if I needed a cms for anything.

I've also used Joomla in the distant past, it was extremely convoluted and not easy to customize. As Lee said, XF would make for a much better CMS than Joomla! It's customizable, extendible and a pleasure to work with!
