Okay, so I get head aches all the time. It's ridiculous! They'll last all day. I hate taking medicine, too, but I'll take some Ibuprofen when it gets to athletics period (any other period I would have to go to the office...in athletics, I can just go to the Training Room - the room with the ice machine, washer, dryer, etc - and get some). It doesn't help. I've talked to a friend on MSN (yeah...most of you know him...not naming names)

and he says that it could be my sleeping habits (or lack of...) or that I should drink more water. I drink water every day, so that's out, and I'm almost positive it isn't my sleep. I'm sleeping the same way I've always slept, and it's never caused me this much trouble. When I get these head aches, though, I am soo mean when I'm talking to friends on MSN. It's gotten to the point where they'll just ask me if I have a head ache after I say something mean, and I'll just say yes.

My thoughts were that it's my eyes. My mom needs glasses to read and when she drives. I asked her why she needed them, because I can see perfectly out of them (better than I can without them on) and she told me how far a sign is until it's clear for her to read, and that's how my eyes seem to be.

My thoughts...I think I should get my eyes checked...I mean, I'll have to anyway to get my license, but I think sooner the better (won't be getting my license for a while).

Okay...I'm done complaining.

Maybe being on the computer or watching tv for many hours causes it?

No, it happens even when I'm not on the computer or watching TV. I thought the same thing. I spent a few days last week spending as little time online as possible (I had a project, so I couldn't completely cut it out) and head aches still came. :/

Maybe staring a computer / tv screen for so long gave you a tumor and the only thing that soothes it is getting back in front of the computer or tv. So when you are away from either of those, it hurts because it craves that radiation. ITS ALIVE AND ITS HUNGRY!!

............just kidding.

Hahaha that's funny.

I'm sticking with the eyes.

Its probably your eyes getting bad.

I get horrible headaches when I need to get my glasses updated.

I haven't had my eyes checked in a few years (ooops!) and I have headaches like 24/7 anymore.

Know how you feel I get migraines all the time but I have found out what is causing them.

I would say if you are getting them alot and dont know the cause... forget getting your eyes tested. Go see a doctor.

I used to have bad headaches, until just recently, because I would sleep with the TV on, and unwillingly I would get distracted and fall in and out of sleep watching TV all night, but not realizing it was that late or I was missing out on sleep. Try turning off your TV, music, or whatever else that could be distracting. Sleep is essential to preventing headaches. If you wake up tired in the morning, that could be why.

Maybe they are caused by stress? I just read on another thread that you've been getting stressed? Stress gives me headaches.
